What is the Law of Attraction? Learn to Use the Law of Attraction the Right Way

31 July 2009 292 views No Comment

Perhaps you’ve watched the highly acclaimed 2006 movie, “The Secret”, and tried to follow it to a “T”, only to realize that it’s a lot harder than they make it seem-or the law of attraction just doesn’t work period. Well I’m here to tell you that is does work, as long as you learn to use the law of attraction the right way. This article aims to tell you what they “left out” of The Secret.

What is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is about manifesting (also known as attracting) your desires (the things you want-whether it be material possessions or sentimental things such as a relationship) into your life. The law of attraction is based on the premise that what you think and focus upon the most, is ultimately what you will attract into your life.

It goes much deeper than that; however, but that is the basic principle of it. In order for any of this to work, you must make sure to focus on the things you want, and to think about those things much more than the things you don’t want-especially those things that “cancel out” the things you do want. So if you’re in debt and can’t currently make your bills and you want to attract wealth into your life… stop worrying about those bills and channel that energy into thinking about being wealthy (just an example).

Of course, if you’ve watched ‘The Secret’ (2006), you already know that part.

What Was Left Out of ‘The Secret’?

The 2005 movie, The Secret, was great and would have been near perfect if it didn’t leave out a few of the most important details regarding the Law of Attraction. The movie got you in the right thinking “mode” for not only preparing your mind to attract your desires, but also for “broadcasting” the right energy for manifesting what you want into your life.

What the movie failed to do was remind you that in order to have what you are given, you must take it. In other words, you need to take action when opportunities arise. For example, if you were intending to attract wealth into your life, you’d have to follow through with the opportunities and “action steps” that present themselves to you before that can even happen.

Conclusion

So now that you know what the law of attraction is, the most important thing to remember now is that, once you have prepared your mind and have gotten used to focusing mostly on what you want, and not what you don’t want… it is ultimately up to you to take action on the things that are attracted into your life.
